The little old ghost

As I walk down the foot path I shiver in the cold dark street no one to be seen nothing to be heard just my shadow reflecting on the concrete foot path, I flick up my hoodie onto my freezing cold head with only my dark brown hair covering it. Looking down at my bright pink shoes I hear a strange sound coming from the big forested bush. I stand still with fear running down my spine, as I look carefully I see eyes staring directly at me, when I realize it was just a big fat possum. 

Jogging back home I can feel the stitch coming through my stomach,the pain spreads all over my body. My hands freeze as I jog through the dark deep forest where all the birds are singing their little voices proudly. I run only hearing the birds singing and the crunches of the leaves and bark when I run on them. I see a cabin close to home so I went to check it out. 

when I got there I pulled the door but it was locked, looking  past the gate I spot the open window. I run and smell something like a cherry pie hmmm I say. Climbing in the window I heard footsteps I quickly hide inside the kitchen cupboard. Peeking through the little hole in the cupboard I see an old lady humming a familiar song, wait this was the song my mother used to sing to me when I was a little girl, when I went to look at her face she had vanished away it's like she had to go somewhere. I tiptoe out of the cupboard and peek down the hall where could she be I thought quietly walking to the rooms she was gone, that's when I thought about it a bit smarter "oh no" I say is she a ghost I thought. 

Oh no!! I can hear her humming that when I knew I was in deep deep TROUBLE!!!!

Question 1 information:

Did you know that the Titanic weighed 46,000 tons  when it was completed, but when there were fresh fruit, fresh meat, passengers  and other stuff on board it weighed 52,310 tons.

The length of the Titanic was 882 feet long, The Titanics height was 175 feet high

and the Titanics width was 92 meters wide.

Question 2 information:

As she was gliding through the night a humungous iceberg collides through the ship making big large holes on the side of the Titanic making the ocean water enter the ship. As the water enters the ship making it heavy on the front of the Titanic which is called a bow and a stern is the back of the boat. The bow of the ship tilts through the water leaving only the stern facing up. As the stern faces up the engines and the boilers makes the back of the Titanic heavy,and there it goes the Titanic is gone it breaks in half.Titanic goes down but the Titanic didn’t fully break so that meant the bow took the stern down with it, and thats how the Titanic sank.

Question 3 information:

The Titanic took 3 years to build because they would of have to put all the compartments on and build all the rooms for 3,500 passengers and crew. There were only 3,000 workers so they would of had to get up really early to get it finished. On the Titanic’s hull they used 3 million 2 pound rivets. The Titanic’s rudder weighed 20 tons and each anchor weighed 15 tons. The Titanic had 29 boilers and burned more than 650 tons of coal everyday.

Question 4 information:

The crew first noticed Titanic was heading towards an huge iceberg, the crew shouted out to Captain Smith “Iceberg Iceberg” he turned and turned but it was too late they just knew once Titanic hit that iceberg it was doomed. When the Titanic hit the iceberg there were passengers sleeping because there it was 11:40pm when it happened. It took 2 hours or longer when the Titanic actually went inside the ocean.

Question 5 information:

At that same time there was another boat really close to the Titanic. The other boat that was close was coming to rescue the passengers on the ship. They woke the captain up and told him what happened. The captain would’ve been really  shocked once he heard the word iceberg.  

Question 6 information:

On the ship there were  75,000 pounds of fresh meat including 9,500 pounds of ham,bacon and sausage. There were also 16,850 bottles of wine, 130,000 pieces  of cookware, cutlery and glassware, and obviously approximately 2,200 passengers on board

Brooklyn Dry Dock animation

Here is my animation about a ship going on to a dry dock. First they fill up the dry dock with water and then the ship displaces water. When the ship is on the dry dock someone who works for the ships pumps out the water so that the dry dock gets lighter and lighter so then it can float up to the top of the water with the ferry on it.

My Brother's 1st Birthday!!!

Today was my baby brother Orlando's 1st  birthday 11th of May 2014. Last night my mum, dad, cousin  and I stayed up all night decorating the house while my mum was making my brothers cake. When Orlando woke up at like 12:00 am we all said HAPPY BIRTHDAY ORLANDO!!!!!! 

When it came to 9:30 in the morning I woke up and said Happy Birthday to him and gave him big kisses and hugs. After we got ready me my mum, dad and my friend and Orlando went to chipmunks for the afternoon. We only stayed there for 3 hours and then we went home because Orlando was getting really tired, The party started at 4:30pm so we could get the party set up with the food. 

When the guest started to arrive I put his presents on the table. The first meal  was pizza, and after everyone was finished with their pizza i opened up the ice cream bar. Me and my cousin Chloe did the ice cream bar thing, as the guest came up they gave us a few dollars and we gave them some ice cream. later on the family started to leave as we said goodbye. 

                         And that's what I did on Sunday.

Holiday Recount Term 2

Last Friday night my awesome amazing mum took me and my friend Starr to Jump. Jump is a place full of really bouncy trampolines ( Trampoline Kingdom). When my mum booked us in I was getting excited because it was my first time coming. The lady at the reception told us to go sit down and there will be a man telling the instructions and rules. Once the instructor guy was finished Starr and I took our shoes off then we went jump around.

When I first jumped on the trampoline it was really really bouncy I went so high I could almost reach the roof up up high. After that I went to the foam pit to practice my backflips and frontflips off it. As I flipped in I could feel myself sinking in so it was really difficult to get out. Next to the foam pit was this really high thing that you could jump off into the  pit of foam. When I went on it I did a front flip off it and I almost landed on my face but luckily I didn’t.

Me and Starr got really hot and tired so I asked my mum if we could buy a drink, she said yes so e went to the counter and the lady asked s if we wanted a slushy instead and we said “yes please” me and Starr got a purple slushy that was flavoured passion fruit it was delicious and cold. After a sip I went back on the trampolines to jump. I had a turn on this big thing could the wall it was like a wall you had to jump on, but it wasn’t just a little wall it was a really tall high wall. After about 2 turns I finally made it up but Starr didn’t.

When I went back to have another sip I asked my mum how many minutes we have left until we have to leave till we go back home. My Mum answered you have only 20 minutes left. I quickly ran back to the trampolines so I can use the twenty minutes jumping. For the last ten minutes I went on the swing it was really fun jumping off it because it was like you were flying. After that someone did and call out and said “ok jumpers there’s  only 1 minute until we close” I had to spend that one minute on something good so I went on the foam pit again. One minute is up says a lady on the speaker. I didn’t want to leave because I was having so much fun there. After everyone got off I asked my mum we could both get an ice cream, I got a double scoop that had orange choc chip and rainbow flavour it was yummy. As we walked back to the car I said to my um “thanks for taking us to jump”
