Movies

Last Saturday my friend Starr and I went to the movies to watch Mr peabody and Sherman. Our movie started at 1:00pm so we had lunch with my mum. After we finished our lunch we headed back to the movies and brought our food and went into the cinema. Inside the cinema there were a lot of people ready to watch the movie.

After the movie had finished we went to go meet my mum and brother outside, and then I said can we please go into the arcade room for a little bit. When we went in to the arcade I played on the claw machine  but I didn't get anything just lollies from the tiny claw machine. After I tried the claw machines I went to play on this game where you could win a gift card that had the same money of the stuff you could buy.

Later when we headed back home I told my dad about the movie.

Immersion assembly 2014 term 2

Today was our first day of term 2 and this morning we are going to have immersion assembly like we do every first day of the term. Our topic for the term is I like to move it move it so most of the teachers were dressed up in colours, clowns and other great costumes. When we all walked in the hall Mr Jacobson was playing the Madagascar theme song and me and my friend were dancing.

I liked everyones performances and movies because they  were funny, interesting and they also taught  me some stuff that I didn’t know before. The team I really like was team 1 because they showed us all sorts of animals in the zoo like Lions, Hippos, Rhinoceros, Zebras, Giraffes and other interesting and cool animals. Something I learnt from their skit and movie was how to move it move it.

I really liked this immersion assembly because the skits were performed well and movies were amazing. I hope next term our other assembly will be like this.

Happy late easter!!

Happy Late Easter Everyone I hope you all had an amazing easter. For easter I got a lot of eggs and chocolate. After all my eggs and chocolate I felt really sick and full. My parents got me a lot of mini eggs and my uncle Tim and aunty Tam got me a lot of big and small eggs. My other uncle and aunty got me a caramello set of eggs and a big moro pack with two moro bars and two big eggs.

My Xtra-math progress 2014

Here is what I have been up to on my xtra-math lately this year. Have a look and see what you think of my progress. I think I have done pretty good this year because last year I felt like I didn't do very well on xtra-math. But here is my progress anyway. 

FiaFia 2014!!!!

Last wednesday was our school Fiafia. We usually have our fiafia every 2 years but this year was a bit different because we had it 2 years early. The group I was in was called precisely that. precisely that was like a military kind of dance/performance. For our performance we have to wear plain white pants a plain black tee, plain white gloves a white cap with black socks and shoes.

This is what we  looked like on wednesday night.

When everyone performing for fiafia had gotten changed into their costumes we all had to sit on the grass that had carpet over it, when everyone was seated our principal Mr Burt said the prayer and talked to us about the night and where we had to go on to get on the stage. The very first performance was the senior kapa haka.

Later on it was our turn on stage and I was starting to get really nervous. When we all walked up on stage  I could see everyone looking up at the stage ready for us to perform our amazing dance. When everyone got off the stage I felt proud of myself because I didn't muck up anything in the performance. As we sat back down to watch the other groups dance and perform I was feeling a bit sick. 

After the Fiafia had finished everyone went back to their changing rooms to get back into their normal clothes. My mum and dad were waiting outside for to go home. After that we went to go get my baby brother and then we had some McDonalds. 

My Mini Book Review

Today I am reading A book called The 13-Storey Treehouse it is written by Andy Griffiths and illustrated by Terry Denton. I've only read 22 pages so far and I can already tell this is an awesome book. This book is about these two boys who live in a Tree-House but not just any Tree-House a 13 storey Tree-House. In their Tree-House they have a lemonade fountain, theater and library,Games room, Man eating shark tank and more other epic stuff. Here is a photo of my book that I am reading at the moment.
